The Book of Destiny is an ancient oracle that uses astrology and the ancient tarot to determine influences in our lives, past, present and future.

 

Many believe the Rider-Waite-Smith deck to be the oldest tarot deck, when in fact, the everyday playing cards, which  are thousands of years old, are  the actual ancient tarot.

 

It was when this system of knowledge

arrived to Europe from Egypt that the Europeans created the decks we are familiar with, such as the Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

 

The Europeans based the artwork upon their own interpretations of the original deck.

 

Replacing the simple designs with often disturbing graphic iconography, the original essence and meaning was changed and in some cases, even lost.

 

However, Interpretation of the Book of Destiny is not the same as a tarot reading, no matter what deck is used. It is more in-depth and touches upon many aspects of one's life.
